Subscription

One feature costs money: reading a till receipt. It is the only one that costs us something every time it is used, so it is the only one it would be dishonest to call free.

Payment is not open yet. Receipt scanning stays usable without a subscription during this period.

Your right to withdraw

You have fourteen days to withdraw from this subscription, without giving a reason and at no cost. The period starts on the day you subscribe. To use it, write to the address shown in the legal notice. You are refunded within fourteen days of your request.

I ask for receipt scanning to open straight away, without waiting for those fourteen days to pass. I keep my right to withdraw: if I use it, I pay only for the days already elapsed and the rest is refunded.

Everything else stays free, and account free

Creating a group, inviting by link, entering expenses, splitting, switching currency, settling up, exporting: none of it needs an account or a payment, and none of it is meant to change.

Only the person paying has anything to keep

You attach a group to your subscription, and receipt scanning opens up for every member of it. They have no account to create, no key to hold, and nothing to pay.

We can never send your key back to you

Your subscription key is generated by your browser and never reaches us: we only know a fingerprint of it, which cannot be turned back into the key. That is what makes a theft of our data give access to no subscription at all. In exchange, if you lose your key, nobody can return it: you have a new one issued from your billing area.

What the subscription does not do

It raises no other limit, it removes no advertising because there is none, and it unlocks no hidden feature. It pays for receipt scans, and nothing else.
